Out of the cold northern towns of New Hampshire’s music scene a new sound has been heating things up: The Selectmen are an 8-piece band delivering a high-energy fusion of ska and soul, energized by classic rock n’ roll.

Initially formed in 2022 as a 4 piece, the band gradually added members that brought in a diverse array of influences and styles. Through the slow simmer of time and a few name changes(Mid Life Crisis, POP!), the band evolved into “The Selectmen” in January of 2026.

The Selectmen sound is a unique blend of modern and vintage with a musical message that is grounded in catchy hooks and undeniable grooves. Their live performances have earned them a reputation for putting on a raucous and crowd pleasing show that has built a loyal and devoted following.
